The trip was WONDERFUL! I'm trying to blog it but I'm too tired to think that long. Let's just say for now that even the fact that our group got separated and that we--those who stayed behind--ended up waiting for 5 hours for the next plane didn't kill our spirits. Our gate had the perfect view of the New York City skyline and I spent my time looking at it, trying to envision the Twin Towers. Made me remember that a group of folks started out in that same airport one Tuesday morning, probably doing the same activities that we were--reading the paper, drinking coffee, looking at the New York skyline...and by noon they were heroes to a devastated nation.
In other words, things could have been a lot worse than being stuck in an airport.

How in the world did you notice this?
Somewhere in the midst of all that TV coverage last week... How was your trip?
It's true. Close your eyes and I swear you would never be able to tell them apart. I wonder if they grew up in the same area?
