Gonna be Alright

Been to the doctor today, having taken the Ruth in late Monday night for some quasi-emergency surgery to remove some hematoma-related blood clots. She's doing great. Doctor refers to her as his star and is very, very pleased with her progress -- downright giddy, and it's not every day you see a giddy OB/GYN. (Probably it's not every day you see an OB/GYN period...I mean, at all...nevermind).

Little G is one week old today. How can I already be so attached?
