Mmm Good

Sushi tonight at Charlie's Sake Bomb with some of our favorite people. Ruthie's already threatening to puke right on me if my farts start to smell like raw fish. I'll let you know.

Shawn, if You're Ever Going to Read a Novel,

Make it this one. Check this out, from the description on the cover: "Joe Kavalier, a young artist who has also been trained in the art of Houdiniesque escape, has just smuggled himself out of Nazi-invaded Prague and landed in New York City. His Brooklyn cousin Sammy Clay is looking for a partner to create heroes, stories, and art for the latest novelty to hit America the comic book. Inspired by their own fears and dreams, Kavalier and Clay create the Escapist, The Monitor, and Luna Moth, inspired by the beautiful Rosa Saks, who will become linked by powerful ties to both men."

Throw in a party at Salvador Dali's house and some chillin' with Orson Wells and you wouldn't expect it, but I spent the last hundred pages or so trying not to weep. Great read, and Shawn, I though of you through the whole thing. (I also happen to miss you lately, but that's another blog.)

It's a Boy

Our fetus seems to have a doodle.

And they've moved our due date up 3+ weeks to March 6th. We just cut nearly a month off the wait time.

Wait a minute...

While I've Been Away

They've made my promotion at work official and permanent. First time in my life I've been the boss of anyone. Ought to be interesting.

If Anyone's Still Out There

(I'm having computer issues.)

Ruthie and I should find out today if the lizard is a boy or a girl.
