A Movie and a Musician

Ruthie and I went to see Closer last night not knowing what we were getting into. It was heavy (which I'm cool with) and a bit hard to watch. Think Eyes Wide Shut meets Indecent Proposal (except somehow devoid of nudity) and multiply the betrayal and pain exponentially. It's an excellent piece of filmmaking if you can handle the emotional violence.

It did, however, feature, "The Blower's Daughter," by Damien Rice quite prominently. Breathtaking. Apparently all my friends have been right about him all along.

Plus, how much do we love Natalie Portman?
