The only way I know anything in the sports world is because of this blog. One my students asked me how my brackets were doing and I screwed up my face and said, "That's that game with the ball, isn't it?"

The MSU campus is going to be unbearable tomorrow.

And it's not a superiority thing, either; I just have a congenital incapacity for enthusiasm. I mean, I know otherwise sane, intelligent, and aesthetically with-it people who like NASCAR, so it must just be me.

Suddenly I feel like I'm setting myself up for some kind of excommunication...

So anyway, ahem, er, GO SPARTANS!

Or something like that.

Hoosiers haven't won it since '87 and aren't any closer to another one than they were ten years ago, except that...both times Louisville has won it, Indiana has won it the following year. So maybe...
