Lately
Waded through American Pastoral, which was on my Pulitzer list. Never did get into it, though I felt all along like I should have. Just didn't dig it.
Also read A Song to Sing, a Life to Live, by Emily Saliers and her father Don, who's a church musician and professor of theology and worship. Disappointing. A bit dry. What does it mean when a book co-written by half of Indigo Girls is still too religious for me?

That's a rhetorical question. Let's not get into it. :)
